No Published Price List, But A Turnkey Per-Machine Annual Subscription With Sensors And Analyst Diagnostics Included

Augury is an industrial AI company whose Machine Health product combines wireless sensors on rotating equipment with AI diagnostics reviewed by certified vibration analysts. Augury publishes no dollar prices: its pricing page is titled “Get Pricing and Quotes,” and its site describes a turnkey annual service billed per machine per year. What it does publish is a bundled structure and payback claims, including a Forrester study it commissioned that reports 310% ROI and payback in under six months for a composite organization. That makes it easy to budget by asset count but hard to compare on price today, so this page places it in Best In Pricing on the strength of a transparent billing model and a fast reported payback rather than a visible low price, and says so in the verdict.

WHO

Who Is Augury Best For?

Ideal customer segments and business profiles

Small Businesses

1-25 Employees

A small plant with a few critical machines can budget by asset count and use analyst-backed diagnostics without hiring a vibration expert, but there is no published entry price, so get a quote before shortlisting.

Mid-Market Companies

26-100 Employees

A single-site manufacturer can start with critical assets, though a G2 reviewer from a small business notes that costs rise as coverage expands and weighs whether to monitor less critical equipment.

Enterprise Companies

100+ Employees

Large manufacturers get CMMS and EAM integration, hazardous-area coverage and a customer list that includes DuPont, Shell and Heineken, though one enterprise G2 reviewer calls scaling to non-critical assets cost-prohibitive.

Process Industries With Rotating Equipment

Any Size

Food and beverage, chemicals, pulp and paper, mining, cement and energy operators with pumps, motors, fans and gearboxes are the clearest fit for Machine Health.

Augury BENEFITS

Augury’s Pros & Cons

Balanced evaluation to help you make an informed decision

Strengths

  • Bundled annual service per machine with sensors, diagnostics and support
  • Analyst-validated diagnostics from Cat III and IV vibration analysts
  • Covers 200+ asset types, including hazardous-area and ultra-low RPM equipment
  • CMMS and EAM links to SAP PM, IBM Maximo and Infor EAM
  • ISO 27001:2022, ISO 9001:2015 and GDPR listed on its Trust Center
  • G2 rating of 4.6 and Gartner Peer Insights rating of 4.7
  • Named enterprise customers and a 2025 Verdantix Leader placement

Limitations

  • No published prices, free tier or trial
  • Per-machine billing makes broad coverage costly, per G2 reviewers
  • Reviewers cite hardware lock-in and a black-box AI
  • ROI and payback figures come from a vendor-commissioned composite study
  • Alert tuning and onboarding take effort, per G2 reviewers
  • Headquarters and headcount are not stated on its own site, and no SOC 2 is listed on its Trust Center

Our Verdict

Augury’s Best in Pricing placement rests on thin evidence. No price appears on its site, its pricing page is a quote request, and its Capterra and G2 profiles show no starting price, so a buyer cannot compare it to rivals by price today. The case for the tag rests on structure and return: one turnkey annual fee per machine, a Forrester study it commissioned reporting 310% ROI and payback under six months, and a G2 reviewer who says the platform paid for itself within months. Uptake and C3 AI, by contrast, show dollar figures on AWS Marketplace, Uptake at $25 per vehicle per month for fleets and C3 AI for a different, platform-scale product. The caveats are significant. The Forrester result is a vendor-commissioned composite, and G2 reviewers call per-machine pricing costly for secondary assets and flag hardware lock-in. A third-party figure, Guidewheel’s $15,000 a year for 10 machines, comes from a competitor and is not an Augury price. Treat Augury as a strong product with an unproven price advantage, and request a per-machine quote with sensor ownership, renewal and exit terms before deciding.

What to Know

What to Know Before Buying

Key considerations for evaluating Augury
  • Alert tuning for non-standard duty cycles took back and forth with the vendor, per one reviewer
  • Augury says first improvements arrive in about 30 days on average
  • Augury lists SAP PM, IBM Maximo and Infor EAM, plus historians, SCADA and public APIs, and one G2 reviewer reports a direct CMMS and EAM link. Confirm your CMMS is supported.
  • Billing is per machine, so costs rise with each asset added. Reviewers say this suits critical assets better than secondary equipment.
  • Augury describes a turnkey annual service, but its pages do not itemize sensors, installation, training or analyst support. Ask what is included and what is extra.
  • A G2 reviewer cites hardware lock-in and a black-box AI, so ask who owns the sensors and historical data and whether it can be exported if you leave.
  • Augury publishes no term length, renewal or cancellation terms. Request them with the quote.

Uptake sells AI predictive maintenance software for vehicle fleets, led by Uptake Fleet, serving buses, trucks, construction and mining, and says it is now “A Bosch Company” after Bosch announced a planned acquisition on March 19, 2026. Uptake’s own site publishes no prices, though an AWS Marketplace listing shows $25 per vehicle per month, while Augury targets plant machinery and publishes no dollar amount anywhere we checked.

C3 AI is a publicly traded enterprise AI software company based in Redwood City, California, with a Reliability application for predictive maintenance and customers including Shell, Holcim and Dow. Its site lists no prices, but its AWS Marketplace listing for the C3 Agentic AI Platform shows a $500,000 per month production pilot fee, and C3 AI announced per vCPU-hour consumption pricing in 2022, while Augury publishes no dollar amount.

FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Augury

Augury publishes no prices. Its site describes a turnkey annual service billed per machine per year, and its pricing page asks you to request a quote.

Augury describes a turnkey service, and its site lists sensors, AI diagnostics validated by vibration analysts, Reliability Success Managers and installation options. It does not itemize what is in each fee, so confirm in writing.

Augury cites a Forrester study it commissioned reporting 310% ROI and payback under six months for a composite organization. A G2 reviewer says it paid for itself within months, but results depend on your downtime costs.

Augury lists SAP PM, IBM Maximo and Infor EAM for automatic work orders, plus historians, SCADA, public APIs and a MaintainX integration. Check your specific CMMS version.

Its Trust Center lists ISO 27001:2022, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 80079-34, GDPR, CCPA and EN 18031-1:2024. The page reviewed does not list SOC 2, so request a report if you need one.

G2 reviewers cite alert tuning, a less complete mobile app, fixed reporting, hardware lock-in, a black-box AI and the cost of monitoring non-critical assets.

None of the three publishes a price list on its main site. Uptake’s AWS Marketplace listing shows $25 per vehicle per month for fleets, and C3 AI’s shows a $500,000 monthly pilot fee for its platform, so Augury is the only one with no dollar figure anywhere we checked. Compare on a quote for your assets.

Common alternatives include Uptake, C3 AI, Guidewheel, MachineMetrics and Petasense, which differ in asset focus, hardware model and price transparency.
